Case Study Workshop
The Economics Case Study Skills Workshop is a specialized training program designed to equip students with the necessary tools and techniques to excel in their A-level Economics case study paper. The workshop is held in two convenient locations: Bukit Timah Shopping Centre and Tampines. During the 3-session workshop, students will receive instruction on how to structure their responses to higher-order case study questions, using effective answering techniques and strategies. The workshop also includes revision notes on case study skills, sample examination questions, and common errors and misconceptions. Participants in past workshops have reported a significant improvement in their conceptual understanding and application skills, with many achieving higher scores on their examinations. JC 1 Intensive Revision Programme (December Holiday)
The Intensive Revision Programme is a highly focused study program offered exclusively in December every year. This program is intended for students who have not performed well in their promotional exams and wish to reinforce their JC 1 topics, ensuring they have a solid foundation to build upon. The lessons will focus on content coverage, as well as a range of Economics essay questions and topical case studies, so that students can apply their learned theories to examination questions.
The intensive revision programme is open to all new students who are not attending the regular weekly tuition classes. Participants can expect to benefit from revision notes and model essays, answering techniques and essay-writing strategies for higher-order essay questions, and practice with real examination questions. Additionally, the program offers guidance on how to write evaluation points and value judgments to score high marks, as well as clarification of common errors and misconceptions.
